A year at our school

Assemblies

Each Friday during our whole school assembly Mr Robinson announces a Principal’s Award and gives a free cinema ticket to a student that has been following our 3 school values ‘Respect’, ‘Learning’ and ‘Safety’.

Student of the Week is a meaningful way to recognise a student who consistently gives their best and makes a positive difference in our classroom. It celebrates someone who shows kindness, respect, and a strong effort in their learning. These students lead by example with a positive attitude and thoughtful actions towards others. Student of the Week is our way of shining a light on the small, everyday choices that help create a caring, encouraging, and successful learning environment.

Intensive Swimming Scheme

Each year the students are involved in an Intensive Swimming Program which involves daily, consecutive lessons designed to accelerate still development, build water confidence and refine stroke techniques.

Concert and Presentation night

At the end of each year Pomona Public School student hold a whole school concert to showcase to the wider community and also hold the presentation evening.
